About the Children's Miracle Network

Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America. Each year the 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.

Local contributions helping kids

Scott & White joined the Children’s Miracle Network in 1986. Since that time, more than $12 million has been contributed to help support The Children’s Hospital at Scott & White.

In 2008 alone, over $900,000 was raised through donations from corporate partners, special events and generous gifts from caring citizens all over Central Texas and beyond.

Holding fast to the philosophy that 100 percent of the money raised locally stays local to help children here in the Central Texas community, donations to Children’s Miracle Network are used to:

• Purchase the newest technology available in medical equipment
• Provide medications and testing for those who are unable to pay
• Provide educational programs and services for children and families
• Fund vital support services like Child Life
