Bariatric Surgery Support Groups
Before and after your surgery our caring and supportive staff is excited to help you start a whole new life. Not only will you gain health, energy and confidence, but also the assurance that you have a strong and dependable support group available to help you modify and maintain your healthy new lifestyle.
The purpose of the group is to share experiences and assist each other in the preoperative and postoperative process of weight loss and maintenance. All participants are welcome to any of the groups to gain information and support. The support group meetings are normally facilitated by either Rosemary Ramsey, LCSW, or Amy Casey, PhD, LPC, NCC.
If you are ready for a new, healthier and satisfying lifestyle, don’t let another day go by without getting the information and support you need to make sustainable changes. The dedicated professionals at Scott & White are here to help you reach your goals for good health and well being.
Please do not bring children under the age of 16 years old to the class. Participants often discuss adult themes which are inappropriate for children to hear. Also, young children are disruptive to the group. This is time for adults only.

Temple: Additional Information
Our Temple bariatric surgery support groups are held on the Scott & White Main Campus, 2401 S. 31st Street, in the Conference Center (Building 26) on the southeast side of the campus.

When: First Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Killeen: Additional Information
Our Killeen Bariatric Surgery Support Group meets once per month and is open to adjustable gastric band, gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy patients.
