Celebration, contractor announced for Scott & White Healthcare "anchor" project

TEMPLE, TX - Phase 1 construction on the Lake of the Hills Regional Medical Center is moving forward with the selection of a general contractor and setting the date for a groundbreaking celebration.

Scott & White Healthcare has named DPR Construction of Austin to spearhead building the clinic which will serve as the anchor for the campus, to ultimately be comprised of an ambulatory service center and bed tower in addition to the clinic.

DPR has extensive experience in facilities development with Scott & White. It counts among its recent projects the new Children’s Hospital at Scott & White, which opened in Temple on October 4.

A groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of the Lake of the Hills Regional Medical Center is slated for Wednesday, November 16 at 1 p.m. The community is invited.
