According to the Center for Disease Control, one out of three older adults experiences a fall each year. And falls are the leading cause of both nonfatal and fatal injuries in older adults.

A Matter of Balance is a free, fun and dynamic 8-week course that emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. Classes are led by certified class leaders and offer practical strategies that will work for you!

You will learn to:
- View falls as controllable
- Set goals for increasing activity
- Make changes to reduce fall risks
- Exercise for strength and balance

Who should attend?
- Those concerned about falls
- Those interested in improving balance, flexibility and strength
- Those who have restricted activities due to fears and concerns about falling
