Choose to Donate Life

Medical advancements have created cures that were once unimaginable for illnesses ranging from infection to kidney failure. But many of these cures depend on something that, unlike drugs, can't be artificially manufactured — organ, tissue, blood and marrow donations.

Every day, millions of people are relying on YOU as a part of their life-saving treatment. Select a donation type below to discover how you can help.

Blood donations are needed by patients of all ages who are receiving chemotherapy, suffer traumatic injury or experience significant blood loss during surgery.

You can be a Hometown Hero by giving blood every two months at the Scott & White Blood Center. Ongoing donations are needed to ensure blood is always available.

Marrow transplant is often the only hope for thousands of patients with life-threatening diseases like leukemia and lymphoma.

Seventy percent of all patients in need of a transplant do not have a match within their family and rely on the Be The Match Registry. Even with a registry of millions of willing donors, patients are still without a match.
