The maternal-fetal medicine team at Scott & White's Division of Women's Health Services is dedicated to providing exceptional perinatal and neonatal care. Scott & White is a Level III facility serving as the primary referral facility for the surrounding 21 counties.
With close to 50 years combined experience in maternal-fetal medicine, Steven R. Allen, MD, Nathan S. Drever, MD, and Richard O. Jones, MD are dedicated to providing innovative and skillful care to each patient. They are joined by a highly trained support staff, maternal-fetal nurses, consultative subspecialists and a team of neonatologists to care for the baby upon arrival.

Scott & White's maternal-fetal medicine see 1,600 patients and referrals each year, and the neonatal nursery provides tertiary neonatal care for up to 56 newborns. The obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology programs collaborate to provide a multidisciplinary approach for high-risk mothers and babies.
