Stay in touch and informed during your hospital stay with Scott & White's new easy-to-use wireless Internet access available in most patient rooms and visitor areas.
It's easy to connect! Simply bring your wireless enabled device with updated virus protection and look for the Wi-Fi hotspot symbol.
Where is the service available?
The Scott & White courtesy wireless network is available at most Scott & White facilities; however, not all locations are online at this time.
Some areas, such as stairwells, elevators and restroom facilities, may have a very low signal strength. Wireless signal is strongest in common areas like waiting rooms and lobbies.
Please note: This service may be disabled in critical care areas or locations where cell phones and cameras are forbidden.
How do I connect?
- Locate a Wi-Fi hotspot
- Select sw-courtesy from the available wireless networks on your wireless device
- Launch your web browser
- Enter an email address into the sign-in page
Please note: Your email will not be shared or used for any purpose other than registering as a user on the Scott & White courtesy wireless network.

Will it work with any device?
While most wireless-enabled devices are compatible, certain devices may have difficulties making a connection, including Android v. 2.1.
Can I connect to any website? Is there any filtering?
A basic filtering with simple protections is in place, but most Internet sites will be available. Scott & White is not responsible for any virus, worms or other malware affecting your computer as a result of your Internet activity.

- Wireless Internet is not as secure as a wired network. Users should take precautions not to disclose sensitive data, such as social security numbers or bank account information.
