• Formulary Management - not just drug selection but an evidence-based document which is core to any effectively managed pharmacy benefit program
• Plan Design Review - a thorough investigation of the impact all facets of plan design have on the performance of the prescription drug benefit
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports - detailed yet easy to read and understand reports outlining plan performance
• Clinical Pharmacist On-Site Visits - annual visits by our clinical pharmacists to review utilization trends, offering an invaluable resource in the constantly evolving world of prescription benefits
• Drug Utilization Review - beyond point of sale edits; these programs address specific drug and/or drug classes to ensure the most efficient use of health care dollars
• Individual Case Review (ICR) and Prior Authorizations - for drugs requiring extensive review, our clinical pharmacists contact the prescribing physician to ensure patient safety and appropriate utilization. This service is a part of our standard of care at no additional charge to the plan
• Annual Advancing Leadership in Health & Pharmacy Management Summit - this educational forum allows the SWPS' clients to gather and discuss trends in utilization and collectively identify opportunities to enhance patient care.
