Health Services Research - Temple Campus

School of Rural Public Health

While the School of Rural Public Health (SRPH) operates as a traditional school of public health, its mission to advance the health of Texans emphasizes the particular issues of rural communities and the dynamics of rural-urban interrelationships. The school draws upon the vast resources and experiences of the Texas A&M Health Science Center and agencies across the state. SRPH is ready to serve Texans by educating the future generation of public health professionals. With the knowledge and experience students gain here through classes and real life training practicum they are able to help Texans improve their quality of life. The faculty of the school is also committed to high-quality basic and applied research to strengthen public health knowledge and intervention, as well as support the provision of public health and health services.
