Dr. Mo Shabahang is the Surgical Program Director, he also serves as the Program Director for the General Surgery Program. The clerkship directors for OB/GYN and Surgery, Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Thomas, will be working alongside Drs. Pliego and Shabahang.

Dr. Hania Wehbe-Janek is the Institute administrator, she is actively involved in simulation and simulation research. The coordinators are two clinical nurses, Lisa Ward and Jaime Rodriguez. They work with the coordinators at Temple College, Neil Coker and Robin Maddux, to make sure the curriculum is followed.

As the Institute is a new concept, every member has only been involved for about one to two years and will remain in place for at least three years.
