We are delighted with your interest in the Texas A&M College of Medicine Graduate Medical Education program at Scott & White.

The mission of medical education here is to instill a sense of professionalism and a passion for life-long learning while utilizing our cutting-edge clinical and academic facilities to teach the core competencies that prepare residents to be skilled care givers and expert consultants. Distinguishing themselves in patient care, research and leadership roles throughout the State of Texas and the Nation, our faculty and graduates are board certified consultants and life long learners.

Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a technology-based medical center using electronic medical records, hand-held PCs and digital imaging. Our residents have the opportunity to see patients in all arenas of healthcare settings. In addition to the principal clinical teaching facilities at Scott & White Memorial Hospital and Clinics, other components of the clinical campus are the Texas Veteran’s Health Care System in Temple, Darnall Army Community Hospital in Killeen and Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi. When it comes to learning the practice of medicine, variety is a very distinct feature of our program that past graduates have come to appreciate.
