About Scott & White
A university-affiliated academic medical center based in Temple, Texas, Scott & White is one of the largest health care systems in the nation.
Why Choose Scott & White
Stephen Sibbitt, M.D.
Director, Internal Medicine Residency
We have designed and implemented a new call system to improve resident autonomy while maintaining appropriate faculty supervision to guide residents through their growth as internists.
Other program initiatives have promoted a team concept in patient care (with the resident as the team leader), improved resident-patient continuity and strengthened the academic and teaching environment.
Our residents complete our program with the skills required to enter fellowships or general practices as highly competent internists.
