Scott & White Healthcare opens new sports medicine and rehabilitation clinic in Sun City

SUN CITY TX - Scott & White Healthcare will host an open house and ribbon cutting for the grand opening of its new Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic in Georgetown tonight, October 13, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. at 5353 Williams Drive, Suite 100, Georgetown, TX 78633. This event is free and open to the public.

“With the continued growth in our region, there’s an increased need for all healthcare services particularly rehab services where we see patients two to three times a week on average,” explains Brian Carr, PT, doctor of physical therapy and lead therapist at the Scott & White Georgetown Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic. “The new clinic encompasses approximately 6,000 square feet and features three exam rooms, a room for speech therapy, and another room for occupational therapy, as well as a large 3,500-square-foot gym.”

“As part of our overall services, we will have licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and physical therapy assistants,” said Carr.

The facility was designed for easy check-in and patients can relax as they sit face-to-face with a check-out attendant to schedule future appointments.
