Harker Heights Open House set for Tuesday, April 21
TEMPLE, Texas – Scott & White Harker Heights Clinic will hold its opening ceremony Tuesday, April 21, from 4-6 p.m. at the newly completed clinic in the Texas Heritage Park shopping center at 907 Mountain Lion Circle. The public is invited.
This new 9,100-square-foot facility has 15 exam rooms with two treatment rooms. Designed with convenience in mind, the clinic boasts patient-friendly access to check-in, on-site x-ray and laboratory services. In addition, it features check-out lobbies at each exit that offer seating so patients can relax as they sit face-to-face with a patient service representative to schedule future appointments.
Family medicine physician, Jeffrey A. Hall, D.O., will serve as the medical director. Dr. Hall has worked at Scott & White’s Northside Clinic in Temple since 2005. The clinic will offer treatment for a variety of health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, gynecological concerns, allergies, asthma and arthritis. The clinic also offers general pediatric care and preventive care, including wellness exams; cholesterol checks, heart disease and diabetes screenings; immunizations and nutritional counseling. Additionally, Dr. Hall will introduce special manipulation therapy called Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment or OMT, which involves using the hands to move muscles and joints using stretching, gentle pressure and resistance. OMT can help ease pain, promote healing and increase mobility.
“We are excited to be a part of the Harker Heights community,” said Christopher Payne, clinic manager. “This new clinic is just a part of our commitment to bringing the very best in healthcare to the families of Central Texas.” Currently the clinic has 10 employees and second physician is slated to join the staff in the coming weeks.
A word of welcome and opening remarks commences at 4 p.m. followed by a ribbon cutting by the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce, refreshments and entertainment.
