Scott & White Blood Center expands hours
TEMPLE, Texas — The Scott & White Blood Center is extending its hours to make it even more convenient for blood donors. The new hours are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.
“Earlier this year, we surveyed more than 1,000 current and past donors to find out what hours are most convenient to donate blood,” said Regina Phinney, manager of donor recruitment. “These extended hours will make it much more accommodating for donors who can stop by on their way home from work to donate blood.”
All the blood collected at the Scott & White Blood Center and on its three mobile units stays here in Central Texas to benefit area residents.
Donors can schedule an appointment by calling 254-724-HERO. Walk-ins are also welcome at anytime. Complimentary valet parking is available for all blood donors.
The Scott & White Blood Center is located on the first floor of the Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Room 115 next to the McLane Dining Room. Breakfast or dinner blood drive donors should park in the front hospital lot and use the main entrance behind the flag poles. For more information, please call 254-724-HERO (4376) or 877-724-HERO (4376).
