- The Registry Has a New Name
The Registry has a new name - Be The Match. The National Marrow Donor Program will remain the name of the overall organization and will continue to provide the products and services the transplant community depends on. Be The Match is now the new face and name for the Registry and will more clearly illustrate what those who join the registry want to do - be a match and save a life.- Read more about the Registry
- Two-Time Donor Gives a Third Gift of Life
- Tamara Clothier honored
The Scott & White Marrow Donor Program would like to thank Tamara Clothier for giving the gift of life three times. The first two times were from a donation of marrow and then stem cells, and a third time with a contribution of funds she received when honored by Altrusa International of Temple as Altrusan of the Year.- Read more about Tamara

- First Annual Chi Psi Beta Marrow-thon
- 5K Race Draws Hundreds
The Scott & White Marrow Donor Program thanks Chi Psi Beta at Texas A&M University for their continuing support through their Annual "Marrow-Thon". Funds from this event go to cover the typing costs to put additional potential donors on the registry.

- Scott & White Orthopedics Sets Challenge
- 50% of Department on the Registry
This past Spring, the Scott & White Orthopedics Department challenged all other Scott & White Departments to beat their participation on the registry. Thanks to this department for their outstanding support!

- Support for "Team Sam"
- College Station Organization Shows Support
- The Korean Students Association at Texas A&M University joined "Team Sam" to show support for a Killeen resident in need of a donor.
- Thanks to all of the groups working on "Team Sam', hundreds of individuals were added to the registry.
- Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour
- 12th Annual Tour to Take Place in October
The 12th annual Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour will kick off on October 3 and continue throughout the state for eight days. The purpose of the tour is to increase the awareness of all Texans for the need of life-saving donors of blood, marrow, organ and tissues.

- Pat Padreja Visits Scott & White
- Driving For Donors

Patrick Pedraja can be described in many ways, but definitely not a "typical teenager." Following his struggle with leukemia, Pat has lead a historic personal quest to find and register potential bone marrow donors.
Driving For Donors has been responsible for adding thousands of individuals to the registry. In 2008, Pat brought his message to the leadership of Scott & White. [Play video]
