Race Events
Full MarathonThe Marathon is a certified 26.2 mile course. There are 13 age categories for the marathon (18 to 80+ years of age) for both males and females, making a total of 26 categories available. There is a separate division for barefoot runners. This division will have an additional 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophy distributed regardless of age and gender. The marathon is not open to persons under 18 years of age. Walkers are invited to participate in the Miracle Match Marathon, however, the course will close promptly at 2:30 p.m. | Half MarathonThe Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile course. There are 16 age categories for the half-marathon (9 and under to 80+ years of age) for both males and females, making a total of 26 categories available. The half marathon is open to all ages. Walkers are invited to participate in the Miracle Match Marathon, however, the course will close promptly at 2:30 p.m. | Marathon RelayThe course for the four-person Marathon relay is the same as the full marathon. The relay runners will change at the five-mile mark, the half way rest stop, and approximately eight miles from the finish line. There are two divisions for the four person relay and each division has three categories. There is no two person relay offered this year. The marathon relays are open to all ages. |
5 K RaceThere are 16 age categories for the 5K race (9 and under to 80+ years of age) for both males and females, making a total of 32 categories available. The 5K is open to all ages. Walkers are invited to participate in the Miracle Match Marathon's 5K event. | One Mile Fun RunThere are two age categories for the one-mile fun run. Under 14 years old and 15 years and older. Walkers, wheelchairs and baby strollers are invited to participate in the Miracle Match Marathon's one mile event. Sorry – no pets are allowed on the course. | Miracle Match KidsThe Miracle Match Marathon also offers a special kids run called Miracle Match Kids. The purpose of this event is to encourage our school students to maintain regular exercise in their everyday lives to promote health and wellness. This event is open for students through the 12th grade. |
