Mastectomy Prostheses Fittings

Prosthesis and mastectomy bra fitting is available at Scott & White Center for Cancer Prevention and Care.

Certified mastectomy fitter

Scott & White has a Certified Fitter - Mastectomy (CFM) certified by the American Board of Certification for Orthotics and Prosthetics.

Requirements for a fitting include a prescription from one of your physicians, either primary care or oncologist, an appointment and your insurance cards.

Insurance coverage and payment

The Scott & White fitter will measure you to insure that your mastectomy bra and breast prosthesis are a proper fit for you. You may then take your item list to a medical supply store that will order the products and file your insurance claim for you; otherwise, you must pay for the products and file your own insurance claim.
