Scott & White Hospital - Round Rock’s 24-hour Emergency Services is a full service emergency room providing minor and major emergency care. We also have specially trained staff (sexual assault nurse examiners or S.A.N.E.) to assist sexual assault victims. We provide Emergency Services from board-certified physicians specializing in emergency medicine who have access to the latest-saving technology and are supported by highly trained nursing staff. Triage assessment is provided by a registered nurse and every patient is evaluated by Scott & White Hospital - Round Rock’s emergency department physicians to determine treatment and ascertain whether hospital services at Scott & White Hospital - Round Rock are required.

We are an accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers - the nation’s premier organization focused on improving care for patients with acute coronary syndromes. The hospital has a 24/7 cardiac catheterization lab.

If a patient requires a higher level of care than Scott & White Hospital - Round Rock can provide, the patient will be assessed, stabilized and transferred to a qualified facility such as Scott & White’s designated Level 1 Trauma Center at the main hospital in Temple.

As a major Level 1 Trauma Center located between Dallas and Austin, the Scott & White Trauma Center is vital to the care of injured patients.
