The Molecular Pathology Lab has been designated as a Molecular Center of Excellence and is recognized as one of the top labs in the country.

The testing panel offered is quite diverse including infectious and inherited diseases and tests in cancer diagnostics. Approximately 100,000 tests are performed each year.

The high volume tests include testing for HIV, HCV, GC/CT and HPV.

Testing methodologies utilize state of the art diagnostic instruments to provide the best results possible.

The molecular lab is under the direction of Dr. Arundhati Rao who is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty board certification in Molecular Genetic Pathology
