The Scott & White Community Cycling Club (SWCCC), formed in March 2008, consists of recreational riders, new riders and racers of all ages. As a member of the SWCCC, riders will learn more about the sport and broaden their cycling horizons.

Cycling is fun, but more importantly, it is healthy! The SWCCC is dedicated to encouraging an environment that emphasizes both of these important aspects of cycling. As a nationally recognized leader in health care, Scott & White is committed to promoting health, fitness and wellness in our community. The SWCCC's mission is "to create a healthier community by encouraging physical activity and improved fitness through the sport of cycling."

Cycling continues to grow in popularity throughout the United States because it is a fun sport that most everyone can enjoy and also provides benefits including improved physical fitness, new friendships with other cyclists and a greener way to travel.

The SWCCC encourages its members to enjoy all cycling has to offer including participation in weekly group rides, commutes to school and work, and riding in cycling events throughout the region, state and country. Our members are also encouraged give their time and talents in support of community cycling events and activities such as bike rodeos and local bike tours.
