Wednesday

Textbook Conference - 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Review of a selected portion of a current Surgical Textbook, with a multiple choice test.

Thursday

Department of Surgery M&M Conference, 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Review of surgical mortalities and morbidities in Department of Surgery.

Surgery Grand Rounds, Monthly, 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.
Guest speakers from around the country invited to present areas of current interest in surgery.

Trauma M&M - Last Thursday of odd months, 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Interdepartmental review of trauma cases and complications.

Student Case Conference - Noon - 1 p.m.
Weekly noon conference with case presentations by medical students and surgical interns.

Friday

Basic Science Lecture, Monthly, 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Basic Science topics pertaining to surgery will be discussed by researchers. Topics will range from cell signaling to cancer genomics.

Critical Care Lecture - Monthly, 6:45 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Lecture and discussion on critical care issues.
