Thank you for your interest in Texas A&M Health Science Center's Department of Pediatrics. We are very proud of the comprehensive pediatric services available at our clinical campus located at Scott & White in Temple, Texas. Offering a broad array of unique learning opportunities, student and resident education is an important part of our mission. Our general pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists work in close contact with our house staff, assisting with personalized care and encouraging scholarly activities. House staff also gain experience in community pediatrics through our school-based clinics and Scott & White's satellite clinic system with locations in College Station, Waco, Killeen and Round Rock.

Seemingly an ordinary town, Temple offers an extraordinary lifestyle. Free of the daily hassles of traffic and big city crime, the city provides ample shopping, educational resources and cultural activities. Located 15 miles from Temple is beautiful 12,300 acre Lake Belton, a prime location for fishing, boating and recreational fun! Conveniently located on I-35 between Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth, a night out in the "big city" is only a short drive away.

The department's goal is to provide each resident with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of the future. We take great pride in the accomplishments of our graduates and strive to continue to support them throughout their professional career.
