Application and Selection Process
The Texas A&M - Scott & White Ophthalmology Residency Program participates in the Ophthalmology Matching Program sponsored by the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology. Applicants need to request an application directly from the Ophthalmology Matching Program.

Residents must meet the following requirements before residency training at Scott & White may commence:
- Graduate of a LCME accredited medical school or American Osteopathic Association accredited school of osteopathy
- Pass Step II of the USMLE
Residents are responsible for providing the program coordinator documentation of the following:
- Undergraduate diploma
- Medical School diploma
- Current Texas Medical License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
