Application and Selection Process
Medical Oncology will be participating in the NMRP match for the academic year 2007. There will be three two-year fellowship positions available through medical specialties matching programs of the NMRP.
Application forms for the Medical Oncology Fellowship may be downloaded or obtained from the address below. Upon receipt of a completed application and supporting materials, select candidates will be invited for interview. Summary of Items applicant will be asked to provide:
- Completed application form
- Transcript from Medical School
- Dean's Letter
- Three letters of reference from faculty of medical school or residency/fellowship experience (if applicable)
- Personal statement (written on back of application)
The personal statement describes your professional interests, achievements, reasons for choosing specialty of training and plans for the future. Reference should be made to research experience and training, special projects or scientific work you have engaged in and any notable professional accomplishments you have achieved. You may also wish to describe your personal interests, activities and circumstances. - Curriculum Vitae/Resume
- Record of other Graduate Medical experience, if applicable
- ECFMG Certificate (if foreign medical graduate)
- Recent Photograph (optional)
