Each dialysis unit currently uses Di-ProtonTM, a dialysis management system by Clinical Computing, Inc. that will be upgraded in September 2004. SequoiaTM is a physician and patient management system that allows immediate access to patient records, laboratory tests, radiology examinations, physician schedules, in-patient rosters, maintenance of private patient lists, emergency department patient status, communications system and a PDA patient information download capability. SequoiaTM is the gateway to the Life Time Clinical Record maintained by Scott & White Information Systems. The Life Time Clinical Record is Scott & White's electronic medical record that contains all data on patients dating back to 1991. Records prior to 1991 are either on micro-fiche or stored in a protected warehouse and are available for review as needed. CardioWebTM gives access to all cardiology procedures, tests and reports. PACSTM gives access to radiology films and reports.
