The clinical training sites for TAMHSC-COM are located at Scott & White Hospital and Clinic, the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System and at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Killeen.
Olin E. Teague Veterans Center in Temple, TX
- Shares in training Texas A&M-Scott & White residents and fellows in Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Plastic Surgery, Pulmonary/Critical Care, and Urology
- Provides service to nearly 55,000 veteran users across a 32-county service area
- Supports 167 medical/surgical beds, 122 nursing home beds, a 10-bed hospice and a 408-bed nursing home
- An $11.5 million dollar VA Research Institute
Thomas T. Connally Veterans Center, Waco, TX
- A 278-bed psychiatric hospital
- Provides a rehabilitation unit for the blind
- Supports a 20-bed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Residential Rehabilitation Program
