Vaccines for Influenza Prevention in Schools

Up to 23,000 school children in the Temple, Belton and surrounding areas have the opportunity to receive a flu vaccine in school through the VIPS research study.

The goal of the VIPS research study is to help prevent flu by improving flu vaccination in students and staff. Studies suggest that by giving flu vaccines to school children there will be fewer flu infections in children, their families and the community.
