Research and Development
OED offers assistance in Educational Research and Development to promote scholarship among those faculty whose primary focus is in the area of medical education.
Ongoing areas of interest to the institution include development of :
- Innovative curriculum and teaching methods in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education
- Assessment tools for the MSOP/ACGME
- Outcome measures for achievement of educational goals and objectives
Current research projects are focused on innovative teaching methods, enhancement of the integration of compentencies across the educational continuum, the use of technology to solve educational problems, and development of outcome measures for faculty development programs.
