The Inaugural Visionaries' Ball is a true celebration of the accomplishments achieved by the contributors to Phase I of The Vision Campaign. More than $50 million has been raised through the generosity and dedicated commitment of the friends of Scott & White, helping fund important initiatives like the Glenda Tanner Vasicek Cancer Treatment Center. Through your support, Scott & White continues to evolve as a fast growing academic medical center and a vital source of promising and exciting medical research.

During 2008, we are bridging our philanthropic activities from Phase I to Phase II. The Phase II campaign, Empowering Excellence, will be vital in ensuring that Scott & White is equipped to continue offering the best care available. Our Phase II priorities will focus on the construction of the new Surgical Sciences Building, the building of the Bone & Joint Institute and the opening of the Lake of the Hills Regional Medical Center. The realization of these priorities will benefit the people of Texas and beyond. Funds raised during the Inaugural Visionaries' Ball are earmarked for a new Pediatric Operating Room, an essential component of the Surgical Sciences Building construction project at Scott & White.
