For more than five years, cancer patients in Williamson County have had another resource when it comes to treatments — the Scott & White Clinic in Georgetown. Staffed twice a week by an oncology team, the clinic offers chemotherapy and exams by an oncologist.

“Having oncology services available to patients at the Scott & White Georgetown Clinic provides everyone with a wonderful opportunity,” said Juan Posada, M.D., hematologist/oncologist who visits the Georgetown clinic once a week. “This gives our patients easier access to specialized care, and we know the community. It’s important for our patients to know we can bring the care to them, and we hope to do even more in the future.”

The first of Scott & White's regional clinics to offer chemotherapy treatments, the Georgetown clinic offers easy access to patients throughout Williamson and Travis Counties needing chemotherapy.
