How can I use the Proteomics Facility?
Send an e-mail to Dr. Asea and Dr. Kaur to discuss your project. Based on your goal we will help you in designing your proteomics experiment that will be compatible with our methods and instrumentation.

Can I get a letter of availability of the Proteomics Facility for my proposed project?
Discuss your project in advance with Dr. Asea and Dr. Kaur to get a support letter.

Can I get details of the Proteomics Facility for my grant application?
Contact Dr. Asea and Dr. Kaur.

What are your prices?

How much time does it take for the analysis?
It depends on your sample type and project goal.
Examples:
Protein identification without digestion (1D/2D gel spots) takes 24 hours
Protein identification with digestion takes 2 - 3 days
Global proteome analysis using 1D gel-nano LC-MS/MS analysis takes 3 - 4 weeks
2D gel analysis takes 3 - 4 days
PTM depends on the type of modification (there is no time limit)

Does Proteomics Facility provide services for non-Scott & White and TAMU users?
Yes, we certainly do, but on-campus work takes priority. Please contact us for more details.
