The Division of Radiation Oncology is committed to high quality, personalized cancer management enhanced by medical education and research. As members of the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, our staff physicians actively seek the best ways to provide education and treatment for each patient.
Every year, 7,000 radiation treatments are performed within the Scott & White system. The services we provide utilize the latest technology and techniques.
MammoSite®
MammoSite radiation therapy is a widely used method of partial breast irradiation that works by delivering radiation from inside the breast directly to the tissue where cancer is most likely to recur. The MammoSite treatment can be completed in up to five days, allowing you to get back to your life faster.
