J. James Rohack, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P.
Director, Center for Healthcare Policy

As the first director of the Center, Dr. Rohack brings vast experience to the position. A senior cardiologist, Dr. Rohack has been with Scott & White for over 15 years and most recently served as Medical Director for the Scott & White Health Plan. He is also the immediate past chairman of the American Medical Association Board of Trustees and a past president of the Texas Medical Association. He currently sits on the Board of Commissioners of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the Advisory Council to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, a national organization created to enhance the quality of care for Americans.

Martin joined Scott & White after serving as a legislative aide to Texas Senator Kyle Janek. She holds a masters degree in health law from the University of Houston Health Law & Policy Institute and earned her juris doctorate at the University of Arkansas School of Law.

Posey serves as the Director of Government Affairs for Scott & White. He was a legislative assistant and press secretary for former U.S. Representative Marvin Leath. Posey has a bachelor of arts degree from Baylor University and a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University.

Before joining Scott & White in 1993, Harrison worked for KCEN-TV as a Public Affairs Director. He also served as a media liaison and speechwriter for former Texas Attorney General John Hill.
