Rachel was stricken with a debilitating disease called dermatomyositis, a rare disease that is more common in adults than children. After many years of treatment, Rachel is now a healthy, happy girl with a passion for dancing. Read more about Rachel's story and how the Children's Miracle Network has touched her life.

Do you have a miracle kid in your family?

If your child has been treated at Scott & White or St. Joseph and you would like to share your experience in order to help other kids, please email your story along with a picture of your child to jksionda@swmail.sw.org. Miracle kids will have the opportunity to share their stories at our events as well as be invited to be "celebrities" at our Children's Miracle Network Fun Run held in the spring.
