Plastic Surgery

The Division of Plastic Surgery serves patients who have a wide variety of concerns.

Reconstructive surgery includes repair of defects or deformities such as those caused by burns, skin, head and neck cancer, congenital defects, craniofacial deformities, traumatic facial and extremity deformities and breast deformities following mastectomy, including breast reduction. Techniques used may include microsugery and tissue transfer.

Aesthetic or cosmetic surgery improves appearance and includes procedures such as facelift, rhinoplasty (nose), breast lift, breast augmentation, blepharoplasty (eyelids), otoplasty (ear setback), liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), spider vein treatment and treatment of skin pigmentation problems and wrinkles with laser therapy.

The Division of Plastic Surgery also is experienced in managing the bone, joint, tendon, nerve, blood vessel and soft tissue problems of the hand.
