Colorectal Surgery
The Section of Colorectal Surgery specializes in the treatment of colorectal malignancies, inflammatory bowel diseases and anorectal disease. Dr. J. Scott Thomas partners with Section chief, Dr. Harry T. Papaconstantinou in colorectal surgical treatments. The care of patients is closely coordinated with other physicians in gastroenterology, medical oncology, radiation oncology and radiology. The high volume of colorectal and anorectal surgeries is associated with state of the art technology including transrectal ultrasound.
The Section of Colorectal Surgery is an integrated part of the GI Cancer Program at Scott & White which leads to a multidisciplinary management of patients.
