Training at the MRB and West Campus through the ORLCS

• All Personnel
  Take initial building orientation, building emergency procedures, animal hazard awareness and radiation awareness training within 30 days of employment or coming on-board in the facilities.
  
• Radiation Users
  Not all lab users will be working with radioactive materials, those who do must take General Radiological and Site-Specific Radiation Safety Training. In addition, personnel who will be checking in radioactive materials will need radioactive materials check-in training.
  
• Refresher Training
  Refresher training may be conducted by pen and paper, computer modules or web-based depending upon your employer and job position.
  • All personnel will need to take a radiation awareness training every two-years.
  • Laboratory personnel will need to take a general laboratory safety training annually.
  • Radiation users will need to take a General Radiological Safety Training every two years.
