Infectious Disease

The Division of Infectious Disease offers comprehensive care to women and men, treating a wide variety of infectious diseases, both inpatient and outpatient. All of the senior staff are board certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in infectious disease. All members are dedicated to providing excellent medical care.

Travel Clinic
The Division of Infectious Disease also specializes in Travel Medicine. Scott & White's Travel Clinic provides a convenient service by providing patients personalized information based on the individual's medical condition and itinerary. Because health recommendations for a given country can change frequently, Scott & White receives updates from the Centers for Disease Control and other sources that may not be available from a travel agent or a guide book.

When travelers make appointments, they give Travel Clinic personnel information about their itinerary, travel activities, length of stay and medical history. After they arrive, their physician will conduct an examination appropriate for their medical condition and write any necessary prescriptions for medicines or inoculations.
