Scott & White Georgetown Central to hold open house
GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Scott & White Georgetown Central Clinic will celebrate its one-year anniversary with an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at 603 W. University Drive.
A short ceremony will take place at 5:15 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting with representatives from the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and tours of the clinic.
The clinic’s medical staff includes Dr. James Bray, a family medicine physician; Amy Friggle, a certified physician assistant; and William Blakely, a certified acupuncturist. The team treats a variety of illnesses including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, allergies and asthma. They also perform routine physicals; well-child and well-woman exams; immunizations; school physicals; and screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes.
Dr. Bray, who has worked with Scott & White for three years, also has special interests in the non-surgical treatment of sports injuries and other sports related health care concerns. He is a team physician for Georgetown High School and Southwestern University and is a consulting physician for the University of Texas Athletic Department. Bray received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
