The Scott & White Smith Art Gallery will exhibit the work of artist Chris Celusniak of Austin during the month of May

Chris Celusniak will be exhibiting a variety of artworks in the Scott & White Smith Art Gallery April 30 through June 2.

Celusniak is a designer/illustrator in Austin. The soaring curves and fine detail of his renderings are inspired by the surreal life of the carnival. The exhibit includes originals, lithograph prints and giclees.

The illustrations show a hidden depth of stories within stories in a world of endless color. You may love the art or hate the art which is full of emotional energy, but as Chris says, "Please don’t call it typical."

He illustrated the cover and inside pages of  “Texas Gardening the Natural Way” by Howard Garrett.
