Age Categories

Marathon Age Categories

There are 13 age categories for the Individual Marathon. Each age category is divided into male and female divisions for a total of 26 categories per race. The full marathon is not open to runners under 18 years of age. Age categories include:

18 - 24 25 - 29 30 - 34 35 - 39

40 - 44 45 - 49 50 - 54

55 - 59 60 - 64 65 - 69

70 - 74 75 - 80 81 plus

Half Marathon and 5K Races

There are 16 age categories for these events. Each age category is divided into male and female divisions for a total of 32 categories per race. Categories include:

9 and under 10 - 14 15 - 17 18 - 24

25 - 29 30 - 34 35 - 39 40 - 44

45 - 49 50 - 54 55 - 59 60 - 64

65 - 69 70 - 74 75 - 80 81 plus

Marathon Relay Race Categories

There are two divisions with three categories each in the two and four person marathon relay races. These include:

Open Division	High School Track Team Division
male female mixed	male female mixed

Limited transportation will be provided from the start of the course to the relay drop-off points for relay team members. Transportation will be provided from relay points back to the start/finish line.

One Mile Fun Run/Walk

There are two categories for this casual event - under 14 years of age, and 15 years and older. Each participant in the one mile event must be registered in the event to participate.

Miracle Match Kids

The Miracle Match Marathon also offers a special kids run called . The purpose of this event is to encourage our school children to maintain regular exercise in their everyday lives to promote health and wellness.

This event is open for children through the eighth grade. For a $10 entry fee, the child is enrolled in the Miracle Match Kids program. They will receive a tee shirt and log sheet to record each mile that they run or walk. When they finish all 26 miles, the log sheet is returned to the Miracle Match Marathon office. A special medal and certificate will be mailed to the child's physical education teacher for presentation. There is no limit to how many miles a Miracle Match Kid can run.

There are two ways to pre-register for the Miracle Match Marathon.

• Mail: Registration forms are available below in PDF format. Please download, complete and mail with the appropriate fees to:

• Online: Registration can be completed online through active.com
  Please note: Race day registrations will end 30 minutes prior to the start of each race.

Miracle Match KIDS  Information Packet

All events will be chip timed. Participants are to pick up their chip timers the morning of the race. The fee for lost chip timers is $30
