The 5K
The 5K Course
The course for the 5K race of the Miracle Match Marathon begins in Indian Springs Park, along the Brazos River in the shadows of the Suspension Bridge. The terrain is level going through Baylor University and back along the Brazos River. When returning to the Indian Springs area, the course turns to cross the Brazos River on Franklin street, then turns to follow the Brazos River, continuing along the river to the Waco Suspension Bridge and the finish line.
The start and finish line are located at the suspension bridge in Indian Springs Park. Past participants have remarked how neat it was to finish the race by crossing this historic Waco landmark. This is a challenging but beautiful half-marathon course.
The Half-Marathon is a certified 13.1 mile course. The certification number is TX06092ETM
