Team Benefits
Scott & White offers you the opportunity to enroll in one of the nation’s top health plans and receive comprehensive coverage for you and your qualified dependents. Scott & White Employee Medical Plan (SWEMP) coverage is available to regular full-time employees scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week. If you enroll, you and Scott & White will share the cost of your coverage.
Eligible employees may enroll in the dental program exclusive of the medical plan. You may choose this dental plan and receive clinical oral examinations twice a year with only a $15.00 copay, plus benefits for more extensive treatments and no deductibles, (fee schedule). You may elect the Enhanced High Option Plan that covers preventative procedures, like cleanings at 100 percent, plus higher plan payments on other reasonable and customary charges. Most services are covered, including orthodontia. MetLife has many preferred provider dentists located within the geographical areas served by Scott & White for the provision of these services.
A group accident hospitalization benefit is available at no cost to you, if you participate in the SWEMP. Participants may be reimbursed $100/day for up to 180 consecutive days during hospital confinement that is the direct result of an accident. The lifetime maximum for this benefit is $500,000, and on-the-job injuries are not covered. Claims for this reimbursement may be filed with the SWHP upon discharge from hospital confinement.
