Since 1943, when the Division of Ophthalmology was established at Scott & White, the staff has shared the commitment of pioneering physicians like Dr. Everett Veirs and Dr. Richard Cunningham. The Lord has blessed us with continued growth. Today our staff includes physicians who are fellowship trained in every subspecialty of Ophthalmology and optometrists who are well trained and committed to patient care.

In April 2003, we established the Scott & White Eye Institute. This transition to a more comprehensive and even higher standard of eye care has included the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility. The physicians and optometrists at the Eye Institute utilize the latest in diagnostic equipment and therapeutic techniques. Many of the staff is also involved in research.

As exciting as this is, we cannot continue to accomplish these wonderful things alone. We respectfully ask you to consider being a part of our progress by making a generous gift to Scott and White dedicated to this purpose. Your gift will be tax deductible, but more importantly, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped restore the vision of patients who might not otherwise enjoy the beauty of a sunrise or sunset.
