Research Facilities

The Ophthalmic Vascular Research Laboratory (OVRL) (1323 square feet) is located in the Medical Research Building (MRB) on the Scott & White clinical campus in Temple, Texas.

This laboratory is fully equipped to carry out isolated blood vessel studies and cell/molecular studies with three videomicroscopic rooms (130 square feet each), cell culture hoods, incubators, freezers and refrigerators, and anti-vibration tables.

Dr. Kuo’s coronary microvascular research laboratory (1203 square feet) is adjacent to the Ophthalmic Vascular Research Laboratory on the second floor of the MRB. The offices of the researchers, scientists, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students are on the first floor of the MRB.
