Nursing Education Assistance Program

The past decade has brought many changes to the healthcare industry and the coming years will create more challenges. The need for well-educated nurses has become increasingly important. The Scott & White Nursing Education Assistance Program is designed to assist Central Texas residents pursuing a career in nursing.

Scott & White has supported nursing education since the first nursing school class graduated in 1904. The Scott & White School of Nursing has historically been the premier school of its type in the nation. In 1970 the Scott & White School of Nursing was transferred to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Scott & White Nursing Education Assistance Program continues to support nursing education through providing financial assistance to individuals enrolled in a number of schools of nursing at the vocational, associate degree, bachelor's, or graduate levels of nursing.

Applications for the Nursing Education Assistance Program will be accepted from January 1, 2011 until April 15, 2011 and will be posted at this site. For more information:
