The Pediatric Urology Division at The Children's Hospital at Scott & White cares for children with common and complex conditions of the kidneys, bladder, penis and testicles, which include birth defects, tumors, voiding problems and injuries.

Our Specialists

King Scott Coffield, M.D.
Dr. Coffield is a professor of Surgery and is the program director of the Urology Residency Program. He is also the urological research coordinator and the team leader of the Genitourinary Cancer Team. His specialty training included urology training at the University of Mississippi and general surgery training from Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Waxman is an assistant professor of Surgery. His specialty training included an urology residency at the Walter Read Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
