Pulmonology
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at The Children's Hospital at Scott & White evaluates and treats children with breathing problems. Our mission is to improve the respiratory health and quality of life of children by:
- Offering comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, home care and consultation services, including the most accurate and advanced testing procedures and effective medical therapies available
- Seeking better therapies – perhaps even cures – for millions of children dealing with illnesses from asthma to cystic fibrosis, through clinical and laboratory investigation
- Supporting and educating families in the care of children with chronic respiratory diseases
Services and Treatments
The Scott & White Pediatric Pulmonary Clinic serves the particular needs of young patients with pulmonary diseases, providing care for children who battle a wide variety of lung ailments. Working as a multidisciplinary team, our physicians treat conditions such as asthma, chronic lung disease caused by prematurity, cystic fibrosis and many other conditions of the lung.

Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinic
The Scott & White Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinic is dedicated to the treatment and care of children with CF. The clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team working together with CF patients on specific days.
