At The Children's Hospital at Scott & White, we have only one priority—Children!

From the groundskeeper to our physicians, every member of the healthcare team is truly committed to our mission, "To provide compassionate, coordinated, comprehensive health care and advocacy for the children of Central Texas through a multi-disciplinary approach enhanced by intellectual endeavors, training of health professionals, and healthcare education of the community."

Children have always had to rely on responsible, concerned, and caring adults to anticipate and provide for their needs. The Children's Hospital at Scott & White stands ready to meet those needs today and is preparing for the future at the same time.

The Children's Hospital at Scott & White is also proud to serve as the teaching facility for The Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Each year, our faculty participates in the education of medical students and residents in pediatrics, family practice, emergency medicine and a variety of other medical subspecialties. As healthcare professionals of the future, these bright and talented young students and resident physicians are eager to seek the knowledge that will equip them to provide care for children and adolescents.

The Children's Hospital at Scott & White is much more than healthcare professionals, buildings and programs. It is a commitment and a vital partnership between the pediatric healthcare professionals and the Central Texas communities to assure that all children receive preventive and urgent care, health education and, most importantly, the opportunity to reach his or her full potential. How can such a lofty goal be accomplished? The answer is simple: It is all a matter of priorities.
